It features a world-class exhibition and a rich public program, including educational workshops, talks, and performances. Noor Riyadh brings together the finest light artworks from leading international and Saudi artists, covering the largest city footprint of any light art festival globally.

Spread across three sites at Riyadh’s Historic Centre, JAX Contemporary Arts District and at Wadi Hanifah, the NOOR 24 festival celebrates the work of over 60 international lighting artists. It was open to the public between 28 November and 16 December 2024.

DHA worked with the main contractor and events company, PICO Group, to coordinate the lighting in the public spaces of the three sites. DHA liaised with the artists to ensure that the site conditions for the installations matched the artists’ original intent, and allowed the public to safely navigate between the lighting artworks.
