Situated in the beautiful Pollock Park, this 1980s sleek glass and pine icon revolutionized museum design with objects seen against the surrounding woods. Working with Museum Design Studio, DHA lit all twenty galleries alongside an event lighting scheme for the Courtyard. The collection comprises over 9,000 decorative art objects from Sir William Burrell’s personal donation to the nation, and highlights included the At Home with the Burrells Gallery which recreated a baronial hall.

The Burrell Collection won the ArtFund Museum of the Year Prize in 2023, and five awards at the Scottish Design Awards 2023 including ‘the best of the best’.
