Electric Nemeton, Kings Cross, London

A one-off Christmas sculpture in Granary Square titled The Electric Nemeton.

Drawing on inspiration from forest groves, DHA and Sam Jacob worked to create a moving light sculpture to draw visitors to Granary Square. Using a series of recessed uplights and concealed linear sources the visitor could interact with the piece. The materiality and structures referenced the nearby train sheds as well as using playful tree shapes, accentuated by coloured light.
