Working closely with Casson Mann, DHA used light to help distinguish four very different stories in this suite of galleries. They reintroduced daylight via careful calculations to these historic spaces and played with colour temperature to delineate the narratives, including cool lighting for polar exploration and warmer lighting for the gold-bejewelled objects of Tudors and Stuarts. They designed and focused bespoke lighting for every case to highlight the Royal Museums Greenwich unique and diverse collections
