Corporate - Swire Properties TaiKoo Hui show suite, Guangzhou

Taikoo Hui is situated in the heart of a prime location, the Tianhe district of Guangzhou, China. Swire Properties and Taikoo Hui Development corporation directly appointed Sugar Design Consultants and DHA Designs to create a innovative, dynamic and world class installation to promote their first development in China.

The lighting design is specific to each of the seven spaces and all tailored and controlled via a hand held controller as you walk through the show suite. The majority of the lighting consists of 300mm LED RGB strips, concealed within architectural details in each of the spaces of the show suite. Graphics are front lit using AR111 sources, with rear walls washed using dimmable T5 fluorescents concealed in ceiling slots.

The lighting control uses Mode Evolution dimmers. These store nearly eighty lighting scenes, recalled using a wireless iPAC handheld device. This sends a scene-recall signal from the AV racks to the dimmer racks via an RS232 interface.
DHA Designs also designed the supporting show suite in Hong Kong.
