Temporary Galleries - V&A Museum - Art Deco
Located in their impressive temporary exhibition galleries, and with over 350,000 visitors, Art Deco is still the most successful show in the V&A's history. Working together with CassonMann, DHA Designs worked to compliment this popular design movement with creative, stylish lighting.
An exhibition highlight was the wonderful recreation of the internally-illuminated Strand Palace Hotel foyer, which DHA Designs undertook using acceptable energy-efficient sources, coloured to match the original. Since Art Deco, DHA Designs have lit many of the V&A’s excellent design movement series, including Arts & Crafts (2005); Modernism (2006); Surreal Things (2007) and Cold War Modern (2008).
