British Museum, London
DHA have worked continuously with the British Museum since lighting Michelangelo: Closer to the Master in 2006.
They lit many of the shows in the Round Reading Room including Book of the Dead and Pompeii and Herculaneum, before working in the new Sainsbury Exhibition Gallery from 2014 onwards.
Blockbuster commissions have included Troy, Scythians, Ming, Rodin, Celts, Nero and Hieroglyphs. Their most recent collaboration was Legion: Life in the Roman Army (2024).
DHA have lit everything in British Museum exhibitions from the Rosetta Stone to Grayson Perry’s pots and from the Parthenon Marbles to the Leonardo drawings.
