Tartan – V&A Dundee
David Roberson of DHA was delighted to return to his home country, to light Tartan, the first major exhibition curated by V&A Dundee themselves.
With a twenty-five year relationship with the V&A, including lighting the first V&A abroad (in Shekou, China), DHA love working at their Scottish museum. Tartan had an amazing 300 objects and over 100 lenders, and DHA wanted to create a democratic lighting scheme where all objects were equally important and visible. From jewellery to kilts to a Hillman Imp, Tartan showcased the best of Scotland.
Other projects at V&A Dundee have included VideoGames; Michael Clark; Night Fever and most recently Kimono.
